This is my final project for my Studio 1 Game Design class, I decided to make a messy tavern. Where the implication is a fight has broken out. All the textures were made through a combination of texture-bashing, generators, and photo-bashing in Substance Painter and Sampler. Water Particle and Puddle FX created from scratch. Working with Unreal physics was a bit finnicky, but it was a great way to push myself, I rigged the chains and applied physics myself in Unreal. The rug was created using parallax occlusion mapping.
The aim of this project was to create something in a semi-realism style that was not too stylized and also not be bogged down by scale. The goal from beginning to end was to always create a beautiful corner
